Pantomime will be the second silent performance from Oscarisma Studios. Children and adults alike will be captured and entertained by the silent comedy. The third helping performance ‘More than a Sea’ written by German writer Milina Owda presents imagination and dreams above the usual traditions in life.
Storyteller Abeer Soliman will capture the crowds and will take you back to Naguib Mahfouz’s tales ‘Nights of the Thousand Nights’ with her reinterpreted account of the mystery, literature and characters from this famous novel.
Together with the musical and theatrical performances, the Egyptian Mawlawyiah performers will provide an artistic spiritual ambiance inspired by the Egyptian heritage. Tanoura dancers will also grace the Darb 17 18 Contemporary Art and Culture Center during the Mawaweel activities.
